Where Therapy Turns Into Fun!

Our Staff

Please meet the amazing individuals who make up our team!  We could not serve our community without them!

Ashlee Wingerter

Hello all! My name is Ashlee Wingerter and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist who holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Associate and is licensed to practice in the state of Missouri. I graduated with my Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Southeast Missouri State University and have since been working for the Speech and Language Center. I work with a variety of clients in the areas of cognition, articulation, voice and fluency, language disorders, and feeding. I especially enjoy working with children who have developmental delays and pediatric speech and language disorders. My favorite thing about my job is seeing the joy of a child and their family as we learn and grow together!

Kalyn T

I graduated from the University of Missouri with my Master's of Occupational Therapy in May 2017. I have always had a passion for working with kids and I'm thankful for the opportunity to pursue this passion through the Speech and Language Center. I spent 3 months completing a fieldwork placement at Children's Therapy Center so I have experience with pediatric outpatient OT. I believe in taking a holistic approach to therapy and will work with parents and children to attain the goals we're working towards together. When I'm not working, I'm playing with my niece and nephew, teaching baton, volunteering at church, or spending time outdoors.

Abby Anderson

My name is Abby Anderson! I received my bachelor’s degree in music therapy from Drury University, completed a 6 month internship, and am board certified. I am ecstatic to be part of the Speech and Language Center team! Growing up, music was a major part of my life. I was involved in voice lessons, piano lessons, guitar, theatre, dance, and so much more. I have always been passionate about helping others and music therapy seemed like the perfect fit for me (and it has been)! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking, riding my horse, being outside, giving guitar and voice lessons ,and playing music just for fun.

Nikki Raithel

My name is Nikki Raithel, and I am one of the Speech Language Pathologists at the Speech and Language Center. I am originally from O'Fallon, Missouri and travelled to Kirksville, Missouri to pursue my degrees at Truman State University. From there, I  graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders and a minor in Spanish in 2012. I also received my Masters degree in Communication Disorders from Truman State University in 2014. My husband and I got married in 2015 and moved to Jefferson City in order to be close to his family. I started working at the Speech and Language Center in 2016 and am so thankful to have found a job I truly love. What I enjoy most about my position is building relationships with clients and their families, celebrating together when we meet our goals, and having a great support system of professionals to collaborate with when needed. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, being in the outdoors, running, and cheering on the Saint Louis Cardinals!
